The Fundamental Movements

THE HIND LEG

Your horses hind end is the main power house for movement, working to unlock and disengage it can give control in a reactive moment, and allow you to release tension and develop strength for performance. Whilst we begin with it for safety, isolating the hind leg helps prepare your horse for any lateral or collected movement, as well as, practical situations, such as turning on a tight bending line when loading in a trailer or entering a stable.
